I am considering fitting a front spoiler, mainly just to change the standard front look. Monarch still advertise at half price but run out of stock a year ago, I have heard Rimmers are not a good fit. Has anybody any experience with front spoilers or can recommend one or has one to sell? Jeff.

    Jeff

Ibought a rimmers deep spoiler about a month ago,It required a lot of cutting andglassfibre to get it to fit how i expected it to fit from the box. That said im pleased with the fit now.

    regards Derek

I use a fibreglass TR6 spoiler from Paddocks. Needed about an hour cutting and reglassing to fit the valance properly but well worth it.

I reject your reality, and substitute it with my own

I believe this one is also sold by Paddocks. If you look at TR6 front spoiler you will see the price. I quite like the look of it and was looking to get one when I get time.

Think I'd rather the big one. I can see the TR6 one ideal as an extra air scoop but I want it solely for looks, not everyone's taste but what is? Thanks for help as usual.

Derek, did you fasten it with pop rivets? Jeff

Jeff link attached to the spoiler.

I fitted it using rivnuts withh 5mm bolts at the front which hpoefully will be concealed by the bumper and self tapers on the arches.

Sorry i dont know how else to upload this picture.

Thanks for the link to pics Derek, is it finished or just started?

I was hoping to try and leave the bumper off and see what it looks like but with that spoiler it needs to cover the join, unless I can mould some fibre glass over and smooth it out, lot of work though.

    Anyone seen one without bumpers?

Jeff its pretty much finnished apart from final preperation by the painter. Top edge should behidden by the bumper.
