Drive it Day 22nd April
If anyone has not decided on their destination for Drive It Day, the club is registered for the Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble which means that you have a discount on tickets and the option to park your Stag in the club’s display parking area.
How it all began
I shall begin with a little bit of history of how I ended up fitting EFI to the Stag engine. Somewhat surprisingly, I didn’t start with a Triumph Stag, I was looking to improve the performance of my TR250. I had fitted the TR with a Stag engine as I was hoping to get more power than the original straight six could provide, even in a tuned state
Five countries in one day
After our successful European road trips in 2016 (Gibraltar boys adventure and Swiss trip with Sharon) I was keen to arrange something for 2017. There was little interest from the guys due to cost and holiday commitments so asked Sharon if she would consider another trip in the Stag.
