The Triumph Stag, an independent reference archive
I have worked in IT and cyber security for over forty years and retire at the end of this year. Using those skills I built triumphstag.org, a free, independent reference covering the car’s history, the Triumph V8 and its characteristics, buying, servicing, tuning and fault-finding. Everything is sourced from workshop manuals and production records rather than repeated folklore, and where sources disagree the page says so rather than picking whichever answer sounds tidiest.
It is not a substitute for the Club. The Club holds the knowledge, the spares scheme and the people who have been keeping these cars running for decades. I built the archive as a searchable repository of useful data, and it always points readers back to the SOC for everything it cannot do.
It is in constant development and always will be. If you spot something wrong, or know something the site does not, I would genuinely like to hear from you. Corrections improve it faster than anything I can write alone.

Kingpin and Technical Reprints for the Stag
Kingpin
Since the formation of the Stag Owners Club and production of its club magazine “Kingpin” has been a regular contributor on technical matters pertaining to the Triumph Stag – think of him as a nameless technical guru equivalent to Top Gears “Stig”. Some unknown person that lurks in the shadows that has copious amounts of knowledge and talent who can be relied upon to impart such to the membership so we can get the best from our cars.
The reprints are in Flipbook format – to view RIGHT CLICK on the cover and select FULL SCREEN.
To EXIT Full Screen and return to the publications, select the ‘Exit Full Screen’ button at the bottom right or press ‘esc’.
For iPad and tablet users, enlarge the page until the chosen publication fills the screen then start to view.
