On Sunday 19th November seventeen of enjoyed an excellent lunch at the George and Dragon – https://www.georgeanddragon-elsworth.co.uk/ the food and drink were excellent, and so was the company. Being a typical damp November day nobody ventured out in their Stag, which as the car park was a wee bit congested probably for the better. Note to self, check the bub carpark next time, large does not mean big!
The problem with seating a large number in a busy pub/restaurant is always the table size. You either get several small tales grouped in one area, or in The George & Dragon a long table, which limits conversation to those immediately around you, unless you switch seats during the meal, which may not be easy.
It would be good if we could find pubs with private dining areas but that is not easy, keep looking.
