Build date August 1973 and first registered 1 January 1974 so is a Mark 2. In Pimento red with black mohair soft top.
The car has been restored in the past by the previous owner who had the vehicle for 16 years and was his pride and joy taking it to numerous classic car shows.
The body is in fantastic condition with no signs of corrosion whatsoever, no scratches, dents or imperfections with good chromework throughout and undersealed.
The soft top is in good condition with minimal slight fraying on the edges where it meets the body but fully serviceable. Good original interior with very little wear considering the car is 53 years old. The car could easily become concourse with some interior detailing ready for the season but is still very usable and always turns heads. Stainless steel exhaust and new rubber mountings just fitted. The stereo radio cassette could do with being changed and upgraded although the electric aerial is functional.
The car is registered with The English Heritage and has the original Certificate. Tax and MOT exempt although it has an MOT until September with no advisories for peace of mind with numerous previous MOTs. Spent £5000 over the past 12 months with invoices on full service, carburettors both serviced, new oil and filter, new air filter, brakes completely overhauled, 4 brand new tyres.
Great runner and starter being garaged when not in use.
Was deemed Category C back in the 1990s but was due to rear panel damage and bumper. Has VOSA certificate. Can provide details of motor engineer who looked after the car for 16 years.
