of XJS, onset of winter, and lack of space means very reluctant sale
of my beloved Stag which I have had since 2003. Damson over black
Tony Hart lowering kit, adjustable Spax dampers, SS
exhaust, poly bushed suspension, fire suppression system, 5 Dayton
wire wheels, 5 Vredestein tires, satellite radio, Garmin nav system,
and fastidiously maintained. Car has always been a driver, so not a
perfect garage queen, but it did 1000 mile round trip to Toronto for
the 45th anniversary in 2016 with no issues.
If the price is right,
the car will be sold complete with original wheels, hardtop (no rust,
but needs refurbishment), hardtop stand and cover, and various and
sundry spares, documentation and books. Odometer says ~45K, but who
knows. Known issues: AC (a retrofitted Miata system) has packed up
again; the underseal needs stripping and redoing and I no longer have
the workshop (or wrists) to do it; the transmission has a persistent
but very slow leak that I have given up trying to fix, so I just use
kitty litter and top off once or twice a year; the driver’s side
door does not lock; and there is an annoying squeak in the left rear
suspension that 3 different mechanics have given up on.
Vehicle is in
Columbus, Indiana, USA.
There are some pics
on http://www.cjprice.com/My-Stag/ that
are very dated. I can add more recent pics if anyone is interested.
Oh, and it did win Best of Show in a (very) small British Car Show
here this year, so she does clean up nicely. Thanks for reading.

is a regrettable sale as I can no longer justify keeping with very low
annual usage and now lack of space. I was going to put it up for £15,995
but feel £10,995 would be more suitable for a quick sale.
