Cars for Sale July 2018

Regular runner, starts every time and plenty of poke! The secret: a 2.5ltr straight six workhorse of an engine, twin-carb out of a Triumph TC Saloon. No bother to maintain, however she does need a little TLC on the seams, rust coming through, in parts.
I have had her for over 14 years and she has been a great second car/ongoing project, I just have no longer got the workshop/garage required to invest some time in her. She will make a great project for someone who has.
There are a few knocks as you can see in the pictures but underneath is pretty solid. I have a hard top and lots of the trim but roof is pretty far gone with a rusty leading edge.
Tyres and brakes are good and has had a recent new steering rack, wheel bearings, flywheel and timing chain replacement.
The car is advertised elsewhere so I may pull from auction early so do get in touch if you are interested. Viewing and test drive recommended.

1973 Mk2 Manual/Overdrive TRIUMPH STAG - NAR 514L
Overview: Owned & enjoyed by long-standing Stag Owners Club, Norfolk Area members. Sadly, both now passed away & a family member Executor is selling their car.
Bodywork: Blue/Green (non-standard) perfectly presentable but would benefit from tidying & respray.
Interior: Good condition (head restraints not yet located).
Engine: Apparently sound, starts & runs well.
Hard top: Sound & body coloured.
Soft-top: Sound but tired e.g. faded & offside has small rip.
Wheels: Relatively new, little used alloys.
History: Large bills file available.
Summary: Roy used this Stag for many years. After his death Jenny used it rarely but any work needed was effected by her local garage. Now it is a perfectly presentable, apparently mechanically sound Stag which would benefit from some tidying, t.l.c. & eventually a respray. A Stag which is ideal to buy & improve whilst still being enjoyed.
Price: £7,500 ono.
