Rare white Triumph Stag Mk1 Manual, build number 139 21-07-70 H registered
In good condition with all matching numbers. The first owner transferred ownership to his son and then to me. I have very little history as any work must have been done in their garage. I bought 139 in 2014 with the plan to do a complete rebuild after I finished my existing Mk 1 project - which having been built from scratch has taken more of my time than planned.
Although giving 139 a MOT each year I sadly have had hardly any time to take her on the road. Due to personal reasons this loved car is up for sale, she needs tarmac under her wheels and someone to enjoy driving her.
This car has got to be seen and driven.

1975 Triumph Stag Automatic with OVERDRIVE!
Topaz Stag with original V8 Engine and Hardtop
This car is (probably) unique with the later and much better BW65 automatic gearbox additionally fitted with a J-Type overdrive conversion. All the convenience of auto transmission with the relaxed cruising and economy of an overdrive.
The car is generally as original; additions include a Kenlowe fan, an oil pressure gauge, a clear Perspex wind shield with rear seat tonneau cover, rear seat belts and electronic ignition.
Engine rebuilt last year with tuftrided crankshaft, new main and big end bearings plus timing chains, sprockets and tensioners, water pump and battery.
The car has been well looked after over the years, including some bodywork restoration during the late 1980’s, it won Best Stag award at the Standard Triumph meeting in 1997. Interior is generally in good condition with just small tears in the passenger seat, driver’s door pocket and the soft top.
Would benefit from some repair work to the usual areas of driver’s door lower inside, bottom of rear wing behind driver’s door and boot lid under rear edge. Otherwise bodywork is sound throughout. Hard top is in very good condition.

I’m located in Buckinghamshire but
