Triumph Stag 1974 Auto
Well after a lot of heart searching I’ve decided to put my 1974 Stag up for sale.I seldom use the car and the last 18 months or so it’s been parked up in my garage.I’ve owned the car for the last 7 years, and spent many happy days tinkering with it “of which I can no longer do”
It’s a good honest Stag, not concurs but with a little bit of TLC could be made an excellent example of a true classic. There is some blistering around the rear arches will require attention “not to bad though.” it had some rot on the outrigger which was cut out and a new section was welded in “which I have photos of”.
Its has 9 months MOT passed with no advisories, the original Triumph V8,the Speedo reads 35565 miles which I believe is a replacement speedo, the engine was rebuild a number of years back by a previous owner,(invoice in the large history files with heritage cert).it has the original hardtop which will require renovation as it has stood in my garage for 7 years and the previous owners garage for a number of years.
With the TLC work involved I’m looking for £6000 which I think is a fair price,I have 2 front seat foams (backs)which I bought last May 2016 of which I haven’t got around to fitting, which I will include in the sale.
