Advertising Report
Last year it was decided to reduce the advertising budget and not proceed with the annual contracts in the classic car magazines for 2021 saving the some £6000-00 per annum. However I have agreed with them that we will still support any article or feature on the Stag, subject to cost. Initially due to the reduced spend there was a tendency for considerable increase in prices but eventually I managed to negotiate rates that were acceptable and in some cases the same as the annual contracts, which I think was due in part to our long and good relationship with them.
The classic magazines have always been very supportive with articles and features on the Stag and also the Stag Club itself and 2021 has been no different, to date we have supported ten major features, plus, I am advised, number eleven is underway.
At this moment in time I feel we have the right balance of magazine advertising, but the current situation will always be monitored.
